Azerbaijan joins world-class golf courses

Azerbaijan has strengthened its position as a golf destination by joining the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO). IAGTO guarantees that the level of its participants meets the highest international standards and experience in golf tourism.

Azerbaijan has two 18-hole golf clubs of international level: Dreamland golf club an area of almost 69 hectares is located 40 minutes from the center of Baku, and National golf club - among the green forests around the Guba Palace hotel.

Designed by renowned American architect Cynthia Dye of Dye Designs, Dreamland golf club It offers premium golf combined with the Mediterranean atmosphere of the nearby Caspian Sea. The field includes conical fairways and grass with many bunkers for experienced players, as well as a multi-level landscape with distant views for beginners. Dreamland Golf Club has a golf academy, created in conjunction with IMG Golf School. The cutting-edge club is officially evaluated and approved by the European Golf Association (EGA).

Golf lovers can also head to National golf club in Guba, from where a breathtaking view of the Caucasus Mountains opens. Located on the territory of the Guba Palace Hotel, it opened in 2013 and became the first golf club in Azerbaijan. Many international competitions took place here, including the PGA European Challenge Tour. The approximately 75-hectare golf course designed by Jon Hunt of International Golf Design includes hills and deep bunkers for players of all levels. The five-star Guba Palace Hotel also has gourmet restaurants and luxurious spa, business and conference centers, making it a great place for both business and leisure.
